Book review: The Great Divide, by John Sperling et al.

The Great Divide is a book written by John Sperling and other members of the Apollo Group. Many (the great majority) of U.S. citizens are convinced that the country is moving in the wrong direction. Others in many other countries agree. The Sperling effort is the most hopeful description of how America can right it's ship of state.

I am trying to get my mind about the whole work so as to prepare a useful summary of the work so that it might better serve to arouse others to read and study this good work so as to help in undoing all the damage that has happened to the American state. The analysis and synthesis of the political divide in the U.S. should also help interested people in other lands to understand how America can be even a threat to them.
