Searching the Internet never felt so good
What if your favorite charity got a penny every time you searched the web...without even opening your pocket? Today I just came across a new search engine called www.goodsearch.com that thought of a brilliant way to use advertising money - that is currently flooding the web - to good use. Ken Ramberg (the former founder of JOBTRAK, now a division of Monster.com) and JJ Ramberg (an MSNBC anchor and the former Director of Marketing at Cooking.com) have set up a new search engine that donates half of its advertising revenue to charities of your choice. Better yet – the search engine is powered by Yahoo!, so you know you are getting good search results.
Think of how many searches you do through Yahoo! and Google everyday. Granted, I am on the web the majority of my day, but I counted my searches and I’m up to 50 so far. All totaled, if I were to search that many times each day, I would raise $91 for my charity, without opening my pocket. Think of how much you could raise if all your friends participated!
Why would you not want to use this new search engine?

Hmmm, stopping to think about how many times I use Google search to find stuff for my writing, I bet I could raise oodles of money in one day too ... hhmmmm.
