The good news about dairies and feedlots

Recent press coverage of the dairy industry has been less than positive: lack of access to pasture, use of antibiotics and genetically modified feed have all made headlines.

Albert Straus, the creator and owner of the first organic dairy west of the Mississippi, will present his holistic and sustainable approach to dairy farming.

He will share his views and successes on how he is making his business more sustainable.

I pay more for Strauss products because I know where the money is going. Love what they are doing with their dairy & feel confident in the quality of their product. People are dangerously ignorant of what is going on with our food supply and it's impact on your health and the environment. Went to hear the full episode and will be posting on Twitter. TED isn't the only place ideas spread (grin). Thx for the post.
