The joy of music

Benjamin Zander, conductor of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra has been a long-time advocate for embracing life's possibilities. Recently, he spoke a the audience at a Pop!Tech conference where the audience watched, amazed as Zander performed a transformative music lesson with a 15-year-old cellist.

By the end of the lesson, the student was able to infuse more passion and emotion into his playing than ever before. This was preceded with Zander talking about the monotony of music lessons for children.

I love this video!! Beware, it is a 30 minute video, but well worth it. May you live the rest of your life with possibility!

I enjoyed reading Zander's book years ago but watching him live was a total treat. What a spark he is! I turn to his advice and philosophy often. Thank you for sharing!
